Connect ChatGPT to OClever

Add the OClever MCP server to ChatGPT as a custom app with OAuth sign-in.

Requirements

Custom MCP apps in ChatGPT need developer mode, available on paid ChatGPT plans. On Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces an admin may need to allow developer mode or custom apps first. ChatGPT connects with OAuth only, so you do not need an access token.

Add OClever

    In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps (called Apps & Connectors on some plans) and open Advanced settings. Turn on Developer mode.

    Select Create app. Name it OClever, add a short description such as “AI visibility data from OClever”, and paste the server URL.

    Set authentication to OAuth, accept the custom-app notice and select Create.

    Sign in to OClever in the window that opens, choose workspaces and permissions, and select Allow.

    In a new chat, open the + menu, choose Developer mode or More, and enable OClever.

Write actions in ChatGPT

ChatGPT asks you to confirm any tool that is not marked read-only. OClever's write and coin tools also preview by default, so you will usually see the preview, then a confirmation, before anything changes.

Check it works

Ask: “Use OClever to tell me which workspaces you can see and our visibility for the last 4 weeks.” The assistant should call whoami or list_workspaces, then get_visibility_overview. If it does not, see Troubleshooting.
